Introduction

Do you want to know anything about military aircraft? My website will teach you all you need to know.

Heavily gunned & armored warplanes

Many cargo planes used in the Vietnam War became massive gunships. For example, the C130 turned into the AC 130. Another cargo plane called the C47 turned into the AC47 nicknamed Puff the Magic Dragon. These gunships can shoot thousands of machine gun bullets. They also could shoot a couple of cannon shells that blow up on impact.

Fighters & bombers

Some people don’t know what a fighter or a bomber is. Well trust me there’s a lot to know. To start it off, a fighter is a small plane that attacks other planes and ground troops. Fighters are sleek, fast and well equipped anywhere from a machine gun or cannon to a heat seeking missile.

A bomber is a much larger plane that carries bombs. Fighters usually escort the bombers because the bombers are big and slower. Also, the bombers usually aren’t very well equipped with guns.

Minigun

My uncle is an expert because he was there when they started testing it in Vietnam. The minigun is a very fast shooting gun. It shoots 50 bullets a second! On a bomber, the minigun is on the side of the plane on a door gun. That means there’s a platform sticking out where a person uses the minigun or any other gun to shoot planes or people on the ground.

The Apache

Information: The Apache is a very powerful attack helicopter. The army uses the Apache to attack anything from people or bases. To a tank miles away, possible hiding behind a hill. The Apache is so effective because of its high-tech guns and technology. The Apache’s guns are a cannon turret, an anti tank missile or hellfire missile.
